Beastly Feasting

Not to be confused with Tina Brown’s Daily Beast, One Market’s chef Mark Dommen is offering "Weekly Beast," a rotating head-to-hoof menu served every Friday and Saturday night. Dishes will feature common and uncommon parts of that week's animal, and will be served as a five-course prix fixe for $49 per person (with optional wine pairings for an additional $20 per person) or à la carte as part of the regular menu. The "beast" this week is Muscovy duck, showcased in creations like liver mousse terrine with brioche and pickled figs and Valrhona chocolate duck-egg pot de crème served with vanilla bean cream and salted caramel ice cream.
