Seems like even health-conscious San Franciscans are beginning to embrace America’s Southern-fried roots cooking. In addition to the down-home cooking happening at the forthcoming Bruno’s venture, Magnolia Gastropub’s chef Ronnie New is unleashing his New Orleans roots every Saturday and Sunday (10 AM –2:30 PM) with a hearty brunch featuring the likes of shrimp and grits ($11), crab cake Benedict ($13) and the ever-popular chicken 'n' waffles ($12).
