Looking to start your Friday night off right? Early this evening, organic vintners and brewers gather at the San Francisco Ferry Building for the California Certified Organic Farmers' (CCOF) fourth annual Organic Beer, Wine and Spirit Tasting. In addition to the usual suspects, daring drinkers will be able to sample tastes of Uncommon Brewer’s Siamese Twin ale (infused with kaffir lime and lemongrass), Bison Brewers’ Chocolate Stout and Honey Basil ales, Eel River Brewing’s Acai Berry Wheat beer and an assortment of fresh fruit and botanical libations from LOFT Organic Liqueurs. In addition, Ferry Building food vendors will supply tastes to help absorb all that booze (4–8 PM; $25 for 10 tastes, or $15 for 5 tastes; includes a commemorative wine glass and access to the silent auction; proceeds help fund CCOF's education and outreach programs).
