Bouche Bistro, a romantic wine bar with an Eclectic menu ranging from cheese and charcuterie to baccalĂ and BBQ, will open in June above its owner's Grape Legs wine shop in the U Street Corridor (1905 Ninth St. NW), where it will offer deals on bottles, as well as a performance space for local talent.
Named for nearby Battery-Kemble Park, Kemble Park Tavern will retrofit the Palisades space that used to house Starland Café (5125 MacArthur Blvd. NW), transforming it into a seasonal American eatery with an old-school vibe and an emphasis on local sourcing. Slated to open in late June, it should be a good fit for a tony neighborhood that could use more dining possibilities.
