On Sunday, July 8th, everyone will feel like a paesano at "Festa Italiano," the annual outdoor street festival at 3rd and F streets NW (once the heart of DC's "Little Italy"). This year's event will spotlight the Emilia-Romagna region, home to the best prosciutto and parmigiano and the fastest cars; in addition to regional food prepared by Famoso, local purveyors and churches, there will be bocce, pasta-making and craft demonstrations, free Italian lessons, music and folk dancing (11:30 AM–5:30 PM; free admission; 202-368-7379).
