Roof Terrace's private dining room

From February 5th–17th, in addition to its usual dinner offerings, the Roof Terrace at the Kennedy Center celebrates Japan’s culinary culture with a special prix fixe menu ($60) as part of the Kennedy Center’s showcase of Japanese performance and visual arts. And on Thursday, February 7th, chef Makoto Takamura of Tokyo will prepare a traditional three-course menu featuring sushi and beef specialties, served with sake and plum wine in the private dining room (8 PM; $125 per person; 2700 F St. NW; call 202-416-8555 to make a reservation).
