An offshoot of Logan Circle’s popular watering hole Stoney’s, Ulah Bistro on U Street NW looks like a readymade neighborhood hangout, with its exposed masonry walls, bare wood tables, open kitchen (with a brick oven for pizza) and loungey second floor; the menu – a something-for-everyone mix of sandwiches, meatloaf, salmon and steak – is served until late for the benefit of night owls and club-goers, not to mention suds sippers looking for a second home.
