On Earth Day, April 22nd, Old Town's Vermilion will host a five-course dinner where locavores can meet the farmers who grew their food. Representatives of New Frontier Bison, Davon Crest Farms and Dragon Creek will talk about their farms and the importance of buying local as guests enjoy dishes like Virginia shad roe and braised bison short rib with wild-nettle fettuccini and morels (7 PM; $85 per person; 703-684-9669).
