Opening Friday, Volt finds chef Bryan Voltaggio (ex Charlie Palmer Steak) returning to his hometown in Frederick, MD; a midpriced showcase for his distinctive seasonal New American cuisine, the restaurant is set in a stately brownstone mansion that's been remodeled to offer a range of dining possibilities – a lounge with a casual dining menu, an elegantly appointed main dining room, a kitchen dining room for guests who want to watch the cooks in action and a glass-enclosed conservatory overlooking a garden for private events.
