A festive juerga (party) at Taberna Del Alabardero on Sunday, July 27th, will kick off with guests learning to make traditional Spanish cocktails like rebujito (a sherry spritzer from Andalucia) and sangria – or just sipping the drinks as an accompaniment to hearty tapas like tortillas, Serrano ham, paella and flank steak. Meanwhile, lively music and flamenco dancing rev up the action, and guests are encouraged to cut a rug (6–9 PM; $75 per person; 202-429-2200).
