La Strada, a family-owned Northern Italian in Alexandria’s Del Ray neighborhood, offers a moderately priced menu of locally sourced, seasonal fare in a setting that evokes a Tuscan enoteca, with faux stucco walls, earth tones and ironwork; dishes come in single and famiglia (shared) portion sizes, while a communal table invites group get-togethers and also gives solo diners the chance to make new friends.
