La Tomatina – the annual tomato-throwing battle involving some 300,000 lbs. of ripe missiles being pitched across the town square of Buñol, Spain – is no high-school cafeteria fracas. Through August 10th, all Jaleo locations are honoring the spirit (if not the mess) of this tradition with two tomato-based cocktails and 16 special menu items, such as cod "ravioli" stuffed with tomato confit and olivada, fried green tomatoes with Asturias blue cheese, and yogurt ice cream with caramelized cherry tomatoes, olive oil, vanilla and black olives.
