Food for Thought at Nathans Q&A Cafe

Carol Joynt interviews Ted Sorensen at Q&A Cafe

This fall you can enjoy a three-course lunch with the likes of George Stephanopoulos at Nathans, where owner-newshound Carol Joynt hosts her "Q&A Cafe" in the restaurant's clubby back dining room. Stephanopoulos will be sharing his thoughts about the upcoming elections on September 25th, and other scheduled guests include Bill Clinton’s former lawyer Robert Bennett (October 8) and Ted Leonsis (October 16), owner of the Washington Capitals. Joynt, who honed her ability as a TV producer for David Brinkley and Larry King, says she has left some slots open “for just ahead of election day…to see how things are playing out.” Whomever she lines up, the interviews should be provocative, so book ahead, as these lunches sell out fast (12:30–2:30 PM; $35 per person includes beverages, tax and tip; 3150 M St. NW; 202-338-2000; see more details and lastest schedule).
