Get together with friends over a sumptuous holiday-themed tea, served daily through December in the hotel's Peacock Alley, featuring a chocolate sleigh filled with fresh berries plus cranberry and gingerbread scones (Monday–Friday, 2:30–5 PM; Saturday–Sunday, 1–5 PM; $49 per person, includes a glass of champagne or special cocktail).
The hotel’s lobby provides an elegant setting for a glorious free music program. Top choral and music ensembles from the Washington area perform daily from December 1st–23rd, 5:30–7:30 PM. Stop by on your way home from work or shopping and soak up the holiday spirit.
Children of all ages look forward to the Willard’s annual Nutcracker Brunch, offered this year on December 7th, 14th and 21st. Themed decor-and-food stations like Granny Stahlbaum's Waffles, Sugar Plum's Pastries and Clara's Land of Sweets bring the classic holiday tale to life (11 AM–2 PM; $79 per adult; $40 per child five–12; children under five eat free; admission includes a gift).
