Before it closes its doors permanently on January 5th, 2009, Downtown Italian staple Luigino will celebrate its 17-year-long run with a buffet and wine tasting on December 20th. Chef-owner Carmine Marzano, who’s moving to Boca Raton, will whip up specialty pastas, pizzas, veal scallopini and more for a bounteous spread. Tenor Antonio Guiliano will give a tribute, and DJ Rob Donofrio will be spinning tunes. Additionally, fans of Marzano now have access to his signature recipes thanks to the just-released DVD Cooking with Carmine (202-371-0595).
