It sounds like a foodie dream come true: some 200 wineries pouring over 800 wines, while celebrity chefs offer demos and tastings of their specialties. That’s the scenario for the Washington, DC Food & Wine Festival, taking place from 2–6 PM February 14th and 15th at the Ronald Reagan International Trade Center (1300 Pennsylvania Ave. NW). The cast includes PBS hosts/chefs Andreas Viestad (Perfect Day), Patrice Olivon (Dinner Is Served) and Christina Pirello (Christina Cooks) along with DC’s own Barton Seaver (ex Hook). Single-day tickets cost $85 prior to February 6th (subsequently $95), while tickets for the Grand Cru Wine Lounge, open 2–6 PM on Saturday only, cost $125 prior to February 6th (subsequently $150). Get tickets here.
