Restaurant Week is officially over, but there are still lots of dining deals to be found. Restaurants at every level are stimulating business by offering prix-fixe menus and bar dining options.
Art & Soul: Art Smith’s Southern is offering an aptly named (given its Capitol Hill location) “Filibuster Buster” – a three-course lunch, served in 45 minutes, for $24 (202-393-7777; reserve online).
Bezu: This sleek French-Asian in Potomac will continue to serve three-course $20.09 lunches and $35.09 dinners, with weekly changing menus, at least through the end of March (301-299-3000; reserve online).
CityZen: The three-course tasting menu served at this New American’s glamorous bar costs $50, with optional wine pairing an extra $25 (202-787-6006).
Chef Geoff’s: The New Mexico Avenue location’s “Sunset Special” – three courses for $19.95 (4–6:30 PM) – has withstood the test of time; the price has held steady for almost a decade (202-237-7800; reserve online).
Eve: The “Lickety Split” lunch served at this Old Town New American’s cozy bar offers a choice of two menu items – one can be a featured cocktail, wine or beer – for $13.50 (703-706-0450).
Hook: This Georgetown seafooder lets diners reel in two courses at lunch for $19 or three courses for $24 (202-625-4488; reserve online).
IndeBleu: Through March 8 a three-course dinner goes for $29.09 at this Asian-inflected Modern American in the Penn Quarter (202-333-2538; reserve online).
Mio: At this Downtown New American's bar, the “Afternoon Delight” offers 20 spaces for a $15 menu that includes salad, pizza and dessert (202-955-0075).
Morton’s: The steakhouse chain offers a wallet-friendly “Power Hour” at its bar, weeknights from 5–6:30 PM and 9:30–11 PM, where four petite filet mignon sandwiches go for $4 and oysters on the half shell are $1.50 a piece (multiple locations).
Oval Room: Just steps from White House, this New American is serving a three-course bar menu for $35 (202-463-8700).
Perrys: During lunch on Saturdays, kitchen items and small plates from the sushi bar are just $7, while bento boxes with soup cost $11 (202-234-6218; reserve online).
Roof Terrace at the Kennedy Center: The New American is conducting a three-course $39 dinner every night that there’s a performance in the Concert Hall or Opera House (202-416-8555; reserve online).
Proof: The "Lunch Crush" deal at the lounge gives diners a choice of six entrees paired with a glass of house red or white wine, soft drink or iced tea for $12 (202-737-7663).
Redwood:
This Bethesda newcomer is serving two-course lunches for $15 and three-course dinners for $35 through the end of March. Additionally, from Sunday through Wednesday evenings, those vittles can be washed down with half-priced wines (301-656-5515; reserve online).
