Oyamel
Oyamel’s second annual Tequila and Mezcal Festival runs from March 2–16, showcasing its extensive list of more than 60 spirits made from the agave plant. Flights starting at $15 will enable tasters to compare single village versions as well as a rare mezcal from a wild mountain maguey plant. Special dishes have been added to the menu, and on Wednesday, March 4, a six-course dinner with tequila and mezcal pairings will be hosted by producers David Suro and Ron Cooper (7:30 PM; $80 per person; 202-628-1008). Additionally, there will be complimentary tequila samples from 5–7 PM on Tuesday, March 3, and Thursday, March 5.
