Le Mistral in McLean is morphing into a new concept, Rouge Blanc French Bistro & Wine Bar, crafted by its former general manager, Jean Marc Leymat, who has taken over the business along with entrepreneur Al Laroussi. Look for contemporary Gallic and Mediterranean fare along with value-oriented wines, in flights and by the glass at its renovated wine bar, when the changeover happens around April 1 (6641 Old Dominion Dr.; 703-748-4888).
Meanwhile, Corner Bistro, its sibling, has also closed and Joe’s Burgers has moved into the space. This low-key burger place is now also a Leymat-Laroussi enterprise (6710 Old Dominion Dr. ; 703-288-0288)
