Celebrate Earth Day on April 22, 5–7 PM, in Poste’s elegant courtyard, where you'll enjoy Virginia wines, French microbrews, cheese samples and truffle frites. The $5 admittance fee will be donated to Freshfarm Markets, a local nonprofit that provides economic opportunities for farmers. The next evening, April 23, join Poste chef Rob Weland, who grows produce for his restaurant in the courtyard, for a “market to market” dinner. He'll lead a a trip to the nearby farmer’s market to shop for ingredients to be used in a meal served at the chef’s table in the garden (6 PM; $85 per person; optional $45 biodynamic wine pairings; 202-783-6060).
