Café Dupont, a moderately priced New American in the recently revamped Jurys Hotel (now called Dupont Hotel), boasts a subdued and sophisticated adjacent bar/lounge, where floor-to-ceiling windows provide ample opportunity for Dupont Circle people-watching, and a dining room with windows that swing open to the street in nice weather; N.B. the bar menu shares many of the same starters and salads as the restaurant, augmented by sandwiches and grazing plates.
