Trading toques and clogs for black-tie garb and dancing shoes, chefs and restaurateurs – including Jamie Leeds (Hank’s, CommonWealth), Massimo Fabbri (Posto, Tosca), Vikram Sunderam (Rasika), Todd Gray (Equinox) and Robert Wiedmaier (Brabo, Marcel's) – will join a host of media personalities at the RAMMYS, an annual gala honoring DC’s restaurant scene, held this year on June 7. The event kicks off with a cocktail hour, followed by a dinner featuring beef spiced up with Chilean merquén. Guests will then boogie down on the dance floor, and finally the evening will culminate in the awards ceremony. Part of the evening’s proceeds go toward the Restaurant Association Metropolitan Washington’s scholarship program (6 PM; $250 per person; Omni Shoreham 2500 Calvert St. NW; tickets available at www.ramw.org).
