Opening September 12 in the Dupont Circle townhouse space that formerly housed Mark and Orlando’s, Eola will offer a smart-looking dining room serving farmer's market–inspired à la carte and tasting menus. Expect New American fare like rockfish with corn, heirloom tomato and nasturtium, and char-grilled ricotta salata with tomato, melon, basil and toasted almond. The exposed-brick and blond walls display photos by local artists and by the father of chef-owner Dan Singhofen, and upstairs there’s a relaxing, candlelit bar and two long communal tables for get-togethers (202-466-4441; 2020 P St. NW).
