How can a restaurant be included in your lists and reviews?

Our Restaurant was in the Rough Guide. We are the Broadway Bar in Sarasota, FL. We had closed to rebuild and opened in our new building last May. The Broadway has been around since 1925 - an institution in Sarasota. We would like to rejoin your restaurants.

    Thank you

Zagat includes restaurants based on how many different "votes" they get. So your best bet would be to organize your customer base, friends, relatives etcetera and have them submit votes.

Well no offense intended, but that makes no sense.
I have looked on here for my favorite Italian Restaurant
and it is not on here, so how do you vote for it ?

I cannot see how to add them.

I could find no way to tell Zagat about a new restaurant, Villa De Aqua n Bellmore, Long Island, Ny. If there were voting going on, I could do a "write-in", but that does not allow new restauarnts to get noticed for another year, which can be a matter of life and death to a new establishment. Why not have a clickable link on the home page similar to "contact us" that says, "tell us about a new restaurant".

I ama Zagat subscriber, and found a restaurant my wife and I liked in Monterey CA, named Esteban.
Is there a way to review this for Zagat?

    Re: Broadway

Thought I would share my best friends humiliating experience at this restaurant last night.

He arrived with friends who just moved to area (he kept raving to them about the pizza). My friend has been coming to this restaurant since it was the old building where the publix is now, and always recommends Broadway as the best pizza in town. Well, until last night.

They showed up around 6:30-7:00, and signed in at the front desk, and did not mind a 30 minute wait. What they did object to is the rudeness of the person at the podium. She told them they need to find somewhere else to stand because she could not have them LOITERING there. I never knew of any paying customers to LOITER. Has anyone else??

They probably pissed off one of worst possible people. There's no telling how many people he will, instead of praise this establishment, but now go out of his way to tell them about his treatment. He told me he had never felt so offended by someone at a restaurant as he did last night (and this guy always eats out).

Good work running off loyal customers with rude host staff (or manager, owner, or whoever she was)!!! They will find elsewhere to wait 30 minutes for pizza and not LOITER.
