What ever you do, please dont go to Babbo!!!
“THE WORST NIGHT OF OUR LIFE” The bold at the entrance is extremely rude. He ignored us and kept me and my wife waiting for 2 ours standing up, and when we complained he yelled at us!!!. 1)Mr. Batalli:Why low class employees?; 2)Rank:Food is not “that good” -27 Zagat ranked? Never!; 3)Clients:OPEN YOUR EYES!; 4)Zagat Rankers: Be objective!. Don’t loose the credibility to pamper Mr. Battali…, without that this is only a restaurant directory.

I agree also. The restaurant is very noisy and the food is only average. I have no idea why it is rated so high.

Yeah, the food is just OK. Not bad, just not worth the hype or the money. There was nothing memorable about the food at all. Service wasn't the best. The service was borderline rude and felt rushed. The decor is alright, but we sat upstairs, and it does tend to get a bit noisy. Honestly with all the other great restaurants in the city, I wouldn't go back again.

So little time, so many restaurants...

We thought the food was amazing at Babbo. It was our best meal while visiting NYC and we tried many of the top restaurants. We got a specail, the love note pasta, and the butternut squash ravioli. we loved the complimentary chef additions too. The service was OK and it was noisy.
