Agree. Been to Bern's several times. They walk a VERY thin line between being unique and being BS Hokie, such as the "dessert room". Why must your party walk upstairs to a different location to have dessert? Makes no sense, except to Uncle Hubert from Mayberry who may think it's "special".
The food is decent, just overserved and overpriced, but I honestly do think they deserve to be a one-time occasion, just to say you've been. Not horrible, but that incredible either.
