Both “old-school” and too cool for school, this “spacious” bar/lounge in the lobby of the “urban hipster”–friendly Ace Hotel features a coffered-ceilinged, faux college-study-hall setting equipped with “comfy couches”, “laptops in the middle of the room” and even a “cute photo booth”; although “service is less than could be desired”, the place sure “beats anything else” in its “no-man’s-land” North Chelsea nabe.
