Something of an also-ran compared to Rose Bar, its scenier next-door neighbor, this just-as-“hip” Gramercy Park Hotel venue has its own “celeb” sightings and equally “expensive” pricing; the “beautiful” decor comes via painter Julian Schnabel, whose haute bohemian design is a cool mix of red velvet, reclaimed wood and serious works of art.
