The Jean-Georges Meatpacking staple will host a new special dinner centered on its signature spices. This time the dinner will be limited to 55 people and will start with a kumquat mojito and a chef demonstration of their shaved tuna with chili tapioca, Asian pear and lime. This will be followed by a special tasting of nine of their signature summer dishes with wine.

After more than 30 years in business, the cozy candlelit restaurant has recently updated its decor and now it's updating the kitchen too. In honor of new executive chef Craig Hopson (ex Picholine) joining the family they are going back to their roots with a five-course "Classics Reborn" tasting menu (think beef Wellington) with cocktail pairings.

Meet Café Boulud's new chef de cuisine, Gavin Kaysen! A competitor on the Food Network's The Next Iron Chef, Gavin Kaysen will be offering Zagat members a special four courses for the price of three. The French-American menu will includes dishes such as Black Truffle and Pork Sausage with Buttermilk Biscuits, Quail Egg and Sauce Périgourdine. The new chef will be on hand to greet guests and share some thoughts on his award-wining cooking style.
