"Dine surrounded by history" at this circa-1929 Midtown former speakeasy, a "NY icon" where tuxedoed "career waiters" make you "feel like one of the Mad Men" within "delightful" "throwback" digs including a "legendary" barroom hung with "model planes and miscellaneous knickknacks" and private rooms upstairs that are "outstanding" for parties; just "dress up" (jackets required) and expect a "hefty bill" for American "country club cuisine (but better)" – though there's always the "best-in-town" deal of a $42 pre-theater prix fixe.
