Italian food, done with creativity and style. Carbonara and chocolate terrine are usually outstanding, the crab cakes, the ravioli, the flourless chocolate cake, and the brownie are quite good, but the sachetto is just showy. Very good, creative pizzas, with a tasty thin crust; and good salads. Service generally good. Decor open and inviting (including a patio), but can be noisy when busy (hard surfaces).
THIS RESTAURANT CERTAINLY DESERVES MORE "BUZZ" BASED ON THE FOOD THEY SERVE. CERTAINLY LIVES UP TO SCHAUDELS REPUTATION. EVERY PART OF OUR MEAL WAS BETTER THAN GOOD. I AM SURPRISED ITS THERE A FEW YEARS AND I HADNT BEEN THERE BUT WILL DEFINATELY BEING GOING BACK. VERY NICE MENU, GOOD WINE LIST FRIENDLY COMPETENT BARTENDER.
What a difference ayear can make. I loved A Mano last year, but this year I felt very different. I would hesitate to go back. The staff was very inexperienced. At 8:30 on Saturday night they were out of quite a few menu items. The appetizers and the main courses were so disappointing....flavorless and overdone. What happened here?
This was a great surprise - our first time there. The food is awesome, the presentation of the meals and service fabulous. We highly recommend it. This is creative Italian food, not the usual. The chef/owner has written a book, and has other establishments.
The dining room on a Friday summer evening was busy but very loud - it was difficult to carry on a conversation at our table.
