I returned to Abattoir and decided to revise my review. The food came out much nicer this time and was well cooked and seasoned. I will say this big word of caution. I know this is very picky but they don't let the meat sit well, so be prepared for it to be slightly undercooked from what you ordered. We heard multiple tables complain. It'll taste great, but be prepared. Our particular server was not attentive but the one next to us was great.
Warm but cavernous interior; limited menu and some challenging offerings (heart, tongue, etc) may intimidate some, but a delicious aged prime beef was great
Great experience. Sheik industrial loft decor. Interesting menu with different cuts of meat. Fantastic steak tartare. Server very knowledgeable about menu and excited to talk about it.
Expected to love it, but the food was inconsistent. Small plates were better than the larger ones.
This place is exceptional. It's just casual enough to relax at the bar but the food is high-quality. I try and go here every couple of weeks and you can't find a better restaurant that combines casual Atlanta with adventurous eating. Their pork rinds are probably the best in the south.
