Great date spot! Cozy atmosphere: low lighting (we read our menu via candlelight), great playlist, not too loud. We were seated in the big seating area next to the bar. Drinks: my date ordered the 'Manhattan' - loved it, said it was one of the best he's ever had! Food: didn't care for the Spanish Mackerel plate - but loved everything else! The butternut squash soup was AMAZING! The chocolate toast is a must.

  • Love, love, loved it. The long, snaky, super-dark entry way makes it feel like you're arriving somewhere special. The food was all fantastic--and our party of three ordered a lot. This is not just another small plates joint--this is truly a notch above. Cool music, fun vibe. We got there just as it opened at 6PM on a Saturday, so didn't have to wait. Love!

  • Entrance feels walking into secret club, then walk to the dining room through a long dark corridor past the wine racks and vinyl LPs, emerging into this fun room with an open kitchen and back patio with a ping pong table - wacky. Great cocktails, decent wines. I hit the cripsy black eyed peas, the salmon tartar, the octopus, and the arugula carrot salad, all fantastic. Gotta believe Graham Elliot checked this out before opening GEB. Willbeback.
