Not sure what all the hype is about? The women at the desk treated me like I was checking on my reservation for opening night at Per Se. The waitress spilled drinks on my friend, the sushi was fine and apps were unimaginative. We ordered two desserts and asked them to add a candle for my friend's birthday. They brought out this entire tray of desserts and wrote on it in chocolate. Everyone thought that was great until the bill came - they charged us $60 for it! We didn't want to make a scene in front of my friend, so we just paid. My suggestion, skip dinner and go for drinks in the lounge.

We went there for dinner and drinks. The place is fancy, no doubt about it - but the food and the drinks are not catching up with it. We had sushi, soup and more, followed by signature black buddha drink. Taste of the food was okay but not terrific, for the price we paid you get better food and drinks in NYC.

Absolutely beautiful decor. It feels as though you are dining in an ancient temple.

Pluses: Free coat check. The architecture is very aesthetically pleasing. The DJ provides excellent background music whether you're sitting down for dinner or just hanging out at the bar. The $10 cocktails are betting quality for a cheaper price compared to other similar restaurants. Minuses: The hosting staff was a bit snoody, but our waiter was amazing!
