This restaurant surprised us. We tried 5 different things and each was first rate. We were warned to bring our own wine and that certainly kept the price down. Our server was overwhelmed because there had been only 3 reservations and the place was packed! She persevered and kept her sweet touch. The decor is not the reason to go to Al Dente. But the food definitely is. Each dish was perfectly prepared, fresh and delicious.

Very minimalistic environment, possibly outdated, however the kind service staff made you feel as if they served you from their own home. Food was good, not great- a little under seasoned and had a bit of an identity crisis regarding the cuisine type.
