The thin-crust pizzas with a great variety of toppings sell like hot cakes. But, I can't resist the white clam sauce and always request the angel hair pasta. Truly oustanding. Don't let the strip mall location dissuade you. Once inside, you'll forget the exterior and concentrate on your taste buds. Plus, the owners and family are almost always present, insuring the highest quality food and service. The best Italian restaurant for miles around!
Greatly improved, with close attention to detail, even if the chef still insists on putting cheese on the insalata verde. Tell him not to gild the lily: the Asiago dressing suffices. Try the flounder Livornese. And leave room for desert: Alforno has the best cannoli this side of New York's Little Italy!
Located off Exit 66 on Rt95 in Westbrook, CT. A very consisently excellent restaurant. Has wonderful Italian specialities, veal, pasta dishes and seafood. The marinara and alfreado sauces are hard to beat. Their trout dish is wonderful. The management insists on fresh incredients or won't serve you second rate products. The PIZZA is one of the top 5 places in CT.
The food is very good. Everything is prepared with great care. Excellent salads and pastas. A treat and a real buy.
The pizza is great-freshest ingredients and wonderful crust but I am often so termpted by the great Italian entrees that I skip the pizza.
