As a Hawaiian Native, Las Vegas Resident, there is no better lunch than one found at "ALOHA KITCHEN". The Kalbi with Rice and Kimchee is always my favorite on the menu, but if you want a simple lunch, you may want to try a Portuguese or Spam Musubi, which is deliciously filling, but not too much food for the novice "Hawaiian Food Lover"... Aloha spread over the counter, and a casual and welcoming atmosphere for dining in... BEST Hawaiian in LV!!!
Good enjoyable Hawaiian food. I like the Saimin noodles here quite a bit.
This is typical Hawaiian homestyle food according to natives. Delicious musubi and mix plates. I was addicted to Aloha Kitchen while I lived in Vegas. I have never been able to find this food other than Las Vegas and Hawaii.
The menu is representative of what is sometimes called local Hawaiian food, and caters to the Hawaiian community that has taken root in Las Vegas. A typical meal is the mix plate: 2 scoops of white rice, 1 of macaroni salad, and 1 or more items such as kalua pork, chicken katsu, and pork lau lau. Spam is also a mainstay (spam sushi!). Health food lovers need not apply.
The food isn't fancy; it's heavy on the fat, heavy on the carbs. I love it! Aloha Kitchen serves a decent representation of the stuff. I have a feeling there must be better versions out there, but this one is pretty good.
