  • We were seated quickly and our server took our order fairly quickly. Our appetizer came out at an acceptable pace but the main course took an additional 20-30 minutes past when our appetizer was cleared. The fries were over cooked, both burgers were over cooked, (I sent mine back), and the mustard my wife asked for was never brought to us. Waiting for the check was also annoyingly long.

    No discount for the bad food/service = no return visits.

    Good place to watch sports without the "chain sports bar" feeling. Nice beer selection. Attached to Loco Hombre Mexican restaurant, and can order from either menu. Ginormous.burgers. Carry out beer and alcohol on Sundays. a rarity in Charm City.

  • Alonso's is best known for its novelty sized hamburgers--up to 20 oz. They're not bad either. Served rare if you want. Even so, better burgers are out there. Fairly good selection of beer on tap, but the bartender is crass and unhelpful. Place looks silly: a few jerseys on the wall and you get the shabbiest looking sports bar around.
