We have a weekend home a mile away and have never tried this restaurant. And on our 41st anniversary, we did. What a pleasant surprise! The food was fresh and well-prepared. We especially noted the sauces that accompanied our appetizers and entrees which were wonderful complements to the main ingredients. The mussels and the mushroom dishes were perfect appetizers before our excellent entrees. Congratulations.

This was a big letdown. Four dinner choices. One for children on mothers day. Minimal portion size. Price fix for Moms day $49 Adults. $20 Children Chicken Tenders. No Appertiserr Children. Adult Appertisers Additiona If a French Restaurant means small portions ( That Fits ) Over priced and un- warranted. Fool me once. Not if you were paying..
Now that "the cat's out of the bag" I probably won't be able to get reservations any more. It is the most sublime restaurant that I've been to over the years, and I've been to many of Zagat's highly rated retaurants. The food is creative and CONSISTENT. Chef Lia's dishes ar amazing with unique combinations, sides, and special ingredients. The ambiance is romantic with unobtrusive live harp music and low lighting. Service is impeccable. A GEM!!!
The seasonal changing menu that features many locally produced items is a refreshing benefit of this wonderful restaurant! Lia Fallon out does herself each week with her "tasting menu" as well. The drink and wine selection is nothing to miss either. And each friday and saturday evening Amarelle has music to lend to the already beautiful surrounding. A must do!
Wonderful rustic atmosphere with excellent food & service. Lobster crepes were great and the duck was cooked well but on the small side. The harp player added a nice touch, but overall environment is a bit too pretentious. We were introduced to chef Lia and she was very personable and happy to talk to us about her food. A restaurant gem in a quiet, residential area.
