Our most recent visit to the Ambassador was disappointing. Service was poor. No one offered to take out coats on entry, there was a big gap between the time our appetizer and entry were served and when I asked the waiter, who I believe was one of the owners, about the delay, I thought his response bordered on rude. It was a Saturday night and restaurant was busy. We had a reservation but it appeared they were understaffed.

Best Indian food in Baltimore. The garden view in the summer is magical you forget you in the city. In the winter the fireplaces make you feel at home. Never feel rushed a feel special!

An excellent Indian restaurant in an apartment bldg near The Johns Hopkins University campus. Quiet. Fine service.
