The gayest non-gay restaurant and bar in Boston. Friendly, neighborhoody and other than the drunks, it's a fine place for very traditional/old-fashioned pasta.
One of my favorite places to eat in Boston. Very good casual Italian fare - pizzas and all the typical dinners (chicken/eggplant parm are notable). Service may be a little gruff, but in a charming way and understandable based upon the crowds.
Be prepared to wait, always crowded and has small occupancy. Small step up for wheel chairs.
Still known for great martinis. Used to be better but this offbeat hole in the wall on Columbus still provides the best late night kitchen and is great mid-week when you've got a jones for pasta and a good glss of well priced red from the thoughtful wine list.
Good reliable South End spot with a wallet-friendly menu.
