Food: Good, not great
Service: waitress friendly but not that attentive. Woman that cleared the table was miserable.
Atmosphere: extremely noisy, with hard surfaces everywhere! We had to raise our voices to be heard.
In Closing: Meal was decent, service could have been better, and due to the noise, not an enjoyable meal.
The waitress imposed a 20% tip on our bill (18% the norm/ I almost always tip 20% though) and incorporated the tax before applying her gratuity!
Will not be returning anytime soon, to many other good options.
Food was uninspired, totally pedestrian.
Service was even worse.
This place survived all of it, the once terrible location in now prime real estate, the neighborhood may have changed, but the Angelo's has not. Classic local neighborhood Italian joint. Grandma's menu with Grandpa's homemade red wine and you won't over pay.
classic Jersey Italian red gravy; the ghost of the Chairman of the Board resides in the old bar and immediately adjoining original dining room; but the added on expansions have been true to the spirit of the old baseball players and boxers photos lining the walls. Best meatballs in South Jersey.
Reliable Italian fare if you don't mind the NY deco.
