Waited 35 minutes for a table even with calling ahead. The place was load and overcrowded. However the food was very good. But portions could of been bigger.

Fair food at best.Pretty place.Cant understand the zagat review of the food.

I agree with Jacob G. The place is a mob scene, loud, overcrowded, and our over-worked waiter was intimidating to me and my wife. I had to ask him to step back as he flexed his muscles over us. Weird. But not as weird as the foul-mouthed ladies talking loudly at the bar next to our tight booth. I wondered, "where am I?" Did not matter. We never went back.

Just ate there last night with my hubby. Right off the bat I wasn't crazy about the cramped seating- it does have that Manhattan tight seating thing going on. However, our food was very good and the prices were fair. Our service was also very good and it was a busy Friday night. Overall we were glad we chose Aperitif and would recommend it to others.
