    Our favorite sushi restaurant on Long Island! Arata brings a touch of class to Syosset with its innovative menu and sleek decor. The hot dishes are a great alternative for non-sushi lovers. Favorites include poke tuna - velvety chunks of tuna and avocado in edamame sauce, and seared scallops with brussel sprouts and jalapeno salsa. The fish is always fresh, the presentation is beautiful, and the staff is young, warm, and enthusiastic.
