  • We had a late lunch there. Really did not expect the food to be so good at 3:30PM but it was, food was great, portions were just perfect, homemade lemonade was excellent. For NYC, the price was right.Best of all, there is plenty of curb side city parking around the restaurant.

  • Very nice restaurant. Exposed brick wall and rug decor make for a cozy and nice place for a dinner. Lamb Tikka kebabs were succulent and tasty. Service was great. Waiter was having a great time and made you excited to be in the restaurant. Entrees $10-15. Very reasonable.

  • We especially enjoyed the aushak, Afghan leek dumplings in a tomato meat sauce with yogurt. Ask Rafi what else he recommends. Next time we'll order a selection of small plates, including aushak, spinach sumosas, and pumpkin dishes ... and whatever Rafi recommends. Prices very reasonable for the quality of our dishes.

  • Authentic, great food. Small but nicely decorated interior, very enjoyable experience all-around. Staten Island prices in Manhattan. Not overcome by tourists, either.

  • Not sure why Zagat reviewers haven't been here yet! Hidden gem where food comes out perfect every single time! The host/owner is extremely friendly and attentive to detail. Must try the chicken kebabs.
