Already "wildly popular", Laurent Tourondel's "much-needed" addition to the UES "redefines the steakhouse" for a "more adult" clientele, serving "delicious" meats (plus sushi) in split-level digs themed as a "steampunk" "train station" with a "hopping bar scene" made for "Tom Wolfe wannabes"; "expensive" tabs and "incredibly noisy" acoustics can't quell the "buzz."
