Pared down menu with Texas style food. Big chicken fried steak that was not mostly fried batter. Frito pie with chili venison tasty but dry. Nice decor. Atmosphere not too loud and was able to converse without too much yelling.

Refused to honor booking - We had booked the entire restaurant months in advance for a wedding researsal dinner for 80 people. The restaurant changed management and the new management refused to honor the prior manager's booking. No apologies, no remorse, just extreme rudeness. We were shocked and very upset, but fortunately we found a much nicer facility with much better food (and attitude!) - who appreciated our business.
