Delicious and unpretntious for a place that could be if it wanted to. Expensive but really not ridiculous for the quality - I'd choose it over trotter's and its a much more relaxed environment.

An $85 fixed menu is the only choice, but there is enough choice in the 6 appetizers and 4 main courses delivered to each table to satisfy everyone and food can be ordered to varying degrees of spice. We make Arun's a staple of every visit to Chicago. Everything from the exotic mix of flavours to the fantastic care in presentation makes it outstanding! A bit out of the way but well worth the trip.

One of the most over-rated restaurants in Chicago. Good but undistinguished Thai food, served with plating decorations that are mostly Chinese and not Thai. Some of my local Thai carry out places have better tasting food. Aside from the nice decor and service, it is a mystery to me how this place has managed to maintain a high reputation for so long.

After decades, Arun's still offers a thai food experience that is unmatched in Chicago (or anywhere else in the country). The massaman beef curry almost melts in your mouth before disappearing; the memory lasts for years!
