I love this restaurant because it's relatively quiet. It's in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel so service is great. Food is straightforward but very good. Great place for a business lunch or dinner because you can actually hear each other.
Spectacular design includes the way they "architect" the food presentation. Food is great but the way it's presented is unique and quite special. We had lunch there today. My club sandwich was wonderful. Dale had a bento box that was off the chart. And it's gorgeous.
Uneven service and food quality. What's with bringing appetizers with the main course? As far as ambience goes, loud house/club music does not contribute to an elegant dining experience. (Consult old Buddha Bar releases). No compelling reasons to return offered.
Uneven food- from outstanding tuna to pork sashimi (!) in one course... Good service, a solid pastry chef, and stylin' decor saved the evening. Unfortunately, with so many good local options, I doubt we'll be back.
Fantastic food and impeccable service. My girlfriend and I have been here for brunch, lunch, and dinner. Their staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. And the seafood is amazing! It is a bit pricy, but definitely will impress a date. The booth tucked away in the middle of the restaurant adds for a nice romantic feel to this luxurious hotel restaurant. Too bad they don't serve their brunch buffet anymore, it was the best I've ever tasted.
