I went at the end of lunch (4pm) and during restaurant week, the food was amazing. I ordered off the regular menu: the trio of mozzarella and the gnocchi. The mozzarella was wonderful. Each variety had a different flavor/quality and the accompaniments made sense with the 3 types I had. The gnocchi was tender with a pesto sauce and asparagus: flavorful and perfectly seasoned. The service was very attentive, and the pace was set by my eating.
great tasting italian, mozzarella was fresh and tasty. Has a relaxed feel, but a little expensive. food was well executed. lamb shoulder was good, pasta was better than anything else in Bethesda, and could compare to some NYC greats.
The food and service here are exceptional. The mozzarella is refreshing, and there are vegetarian options.
I don't recommend sitting outside and having the soup. At the end of the meal I wasn't sure if I was eating flies or soup.
Love the mozzarella. Our son's favorite restaurant.
